Reduplication System
the formation process of reduplication in Réunion Creole seems to be restricted to monosyllabics and to bisyllabics at the most, the only occurrences of trisyllabic reduplication being directly relatable to Malagasy (cf. Daval-Markussen 2009: 5)
Productivity
from the description in Daval-Markussen (2009) the following scale of productivity (decreasing from left to right) in Réunion Creole can be inferred: verbal reduplication > adverbial reduplication > adjectival reduplication > nominal reduplication (if the latter is indeed existent at all; see Daval-Markussen 2009: 10-11)
